Staying at Obenaus – A Few Things to Know

As a a visitor be welcome to let your soul rest and take part in our life.

We have few places and the groups here are small and intimate. Our accommodation options range from a few guest rooms, to tents and caravans on the ground.

Your contribution to Obenaus is your presence, taking part in the life and tasks of the farm and life with about 1 hour per day. Financially, we ask for 35 € per day and person if you stay in a house, and 15 € if you camp.

About Food
We do not provide food as part of your stay. You are welcome to bring your own groceries, and there are local shops nearby where you can buy what you need. The kitchen is available to you for preparing your own meals, and we’ll make space for you to store your food. We also have a few shared staples like spices and basic dry goods you can use if available, but you should plan to cover your own food needs.

We’re looking forward to creating a good rhythm together and are always open to clear, friendly communication around how we live and work here.

Work and Travel Stays

We’re happy you’re considering joining us at Obenaus. This place is more than just a stay – it’s an invitation to share in the beauty, rhythm, and tasks of this land and home.

What We Offer
We offer you a unique stay in a beautiful, nourishing environment, with full access to nature, shared spaces, and the chance to be part of a living, evolving project. In exchange, we ask for around 5 hours of your time per day, which you can usually organize flexibly with us. The spirit of this time together is not “work” in the usual sense – it’s about coming together, contributing meaningfully, and sharing energy.
We’ll spend time onboarding you, explaining the place, the flow of tasks, and how things work – because welcoming someone into our space also takes presence, time, and care. Your stay here also comes with costs on our side – not just accommodation, but also things like shared resources, maintenance, and infrastructure.
